A friend of mine is doing a Tricky Tray for her son's school fundraiser. She asked me if I would like to donate something. I made this cute mermaid. Very colorful!

A timeless movie

Just watched Tootsie with my 13 year old. I wasn't sure she would like it, but she did. The Blockbuster by me is going out of business so I bought a few movies. This was one of them. It was suppose to be a family night movie but my husband was out with some friends and my 10 yr old was at a sleepover so we decided to watch it since there was nothing else to do. My 6 yr old kept busy with her toys, had no interest in it. Sometimes it is harder to keep the older ones entertained. I'm glad I bought it.

Little Miss Sunshine

Hi all- I just listed a new art doll on etsy. Her name is Little Miss Sunshine. She was actually inspired by the piece of material I used for the dress. My daughter was in a play and her friend brought her flowers. The flowers were wrapped in the normal cellophane but also had this yellow material around that. I know there is a name for it but do not know what it is. I love when I reuse items for my art, it makes me feel really good to recycle.

Don't know what made me think of the sun, but here she is.

THIRD PLACE NFAC

Even though eBay isn't what it use to be, you can still make a sale here and there. I posted a couple of weeks ago about NFAC on eBay. The small painting I listed came in third place. It didn't go for that much (but am happy with what I got), but part of the game is getting your name (and work) out there.
